Favorite part of Pub Club: My favorite part of pub club is getting to meet the authors, who are always super happy and excited to work with us. I also love working with all of the club members and hearing their wonderful ideas. It’s such a fun group of people.

 

Craziest Pub Club memory: My craziest Pub Club memory occurred at my first book launch. We had just published Bobby Crawford’s book and he slammed one of his poems for us. It was pretty amazing and the audience went a little crazy over it.

 

Why do you love publishing?: I love publishing for the people I get to work with. It’s really amazing seeing all the hard work they put into transforming a manuscript into a published novel—edited, beautifully designed and marketed all over campus. It’s a lot of work, and lots of mistakes are made along the way, but in the end everyone is so proud of the final piece. And ecstatic authors are the best.
